Aux Etats-Unis, à la fin des années 50, la chaîne de magasins Montgomery Ward diffusait le Wardflex II, un appareil photo reflex à deux objectifs. Ce TLR était fabriqué au Japon par la société Taiyo-do Optical Works qui produisait également des appareils identiques sous la marque Beauty.
